Andrew Pereira, a dedicated motorsports enthusiast from Charleston, SC, is not just any ordinary driver; he's a symbol of perseverance and passion for the sport. Known by his Instagram handle @andrew_drizmo, Andrew has a love for speed and drifting that’s palpable in every conversation. Andrew’s pride and joy is a 2008 Chevrolet Corvette C6, a wild car to hear from around the track. Powered by an LS3 6.2, there is always a 100% chance of smoke following closely behind him. His choice of wheels includes the White Monroe Drift Spec (18x9 +0 Front, 18x10 +15 Rear) and Street Spec (18x10 +15 all around), perfectly complementing his car’s aggressive stance and angle.

Additional modifications such as Feal Coilovers, Kenda 275/35/18 tires, Sparco EVO QRT L seats, Top Garage Full Cage, all while keeping a full interior with AC makes us all probably a bit envious...

Q&A with Andrew Pereira

Q: What got you into motorsports?

A: Always liked to drive fast. Right when I got my first car, I did an SCCA event. Underage and all 🤣

Q: What's your first memory of getting into Motorsports/Cars?

A: Hotwheels is what started it for me.

Q: If there was one thing you wanted people to know about you, what would that be?

A: I'm just like you. We are all trying to make it.

Q: What makes your car so special to you?

A: It was a nightmare for the first 3.5 years. That finally ended and now I drive it as much as possible. So much blood, sweat, and tears poured into it.

Q: What are your goals this year and beyond?

A: For this year 2024: Just to enjoy life and do me. I've been working so much I haven't had time to be in the present. I also want to go drifting as much as possible. For beyond: Find my path in the drifting world and find a way to make a sustainable income creating rad content.

Q: What does racing/drifting mean to you?

A: Everything. My life revolves around it. Passionate doesn't even start to explain it lol.

Q: Anything else you'd like to mention about you or your car?

A: My drifting program is fully funded by myself going to work every day. Felts Films does all my rad videos for YouTube and Insta. Couldn't do it without him.
